Hello everyone!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!!

This is what I did this weekend!

Well first, I saw royalty! (Well I think they are... hahaha)

I went to the Beyonce/ Jay-Z "On the Run" concert and it was pretty epic!! I never been to a concert this size and crazy and it was not a let down! It was amazing!

And my phone caught some pretty good shots of the concert, which I was very surprised since it was a cell phone camera and not a regular camera!

Beyonce was a terrific singer but I think for me, the best parts were when Jay-Z was singing... I didn't know I was more of a Jay-Z fan or that I knew all his lyrics but it was a pleasant surprise! The end of the concert was the best part- they said to "light up the place" and literally every takes their cell phones and lights up the place. It looks like stars... it was amazing!

As I'm going to more concerts, I realized there are different types of concerts, different types of fans and different types of showmanship. But all in all, it was pretty epic! If someone gave me more money, I would totally go to their concert again... or more concerts! hahah!

The next day I met with a friend, who is like a little sister to me, in flushing. It was a gorgeous day outside so I decided to wear some pimpin' prints- floral and flamingos! Not bad, am I right? Haha! By the way, the floral print on the black background is the hat I got during the concert the day before! Didn't know Beyonce was all about floral prints but I think it looks awesome!

So we binged on a ton of dimsum and had some experimental bubble tea... it was a roselle tea with basil seeds... It was cool to look at but awkward to drink.... but none the less an challenge worth doing!

Last but not least, one of the highlights of my weekend was having a reunion of some college friends I met 7 years ago, when were were all in the same freshman year class.

It's so odd to think that so much time has passed since then. If there is one thing I can tell you guys is that even though time has gone by and things have changed in your lives, what still stays in your lives are something worth celebrating! So if you have a friend from years ago that you're still friends with now, tell them how much you appreciate them! It takes really strength to be there till the end!

Welp, that's it for now!

Till next time!~

Hello everyone!

Last night, I had soup dumplings during a date! They were so yummy! It has been a while since I had some... but it was extra special since I was on a first date!

During the date, the guy asked what it was like being a cartoonist and I drew this to show him what part of it is (seeing everything like a unique character or seeing interesting stories)

He looked at me and was not impressed. Not everyone can love a cartoonist hahaha

And yesterday I started this new productivity app called HabitRPG, which is an app that sets up your to-do list like you're an RPG character. Each task you work on or complete, you get gold, exp points and more! It's pretty awesome! Trying it out for now and maybe I'll be a cute avatar! haha!

Well the weekend is coming! It might get a little crazy!

Till next time!~

Hello everyone!

First off, I would like to say happy fourth of July!  I hope everyone had a great 3 day weekend!

For me, I took a short road trip to Martha's Vineyard, MA!

Me and a friend traveled all the way to Massachusetts by car but it was pretty rough since Hurricane Arthur was traveling with us. He wanted to crash the party and we just wanted him to go away. And that's how I imagined the whole scenario. Haha!

I do have to admit, one of the best things about the vacation was the food. So much good and new meals to try! The one on the left is rabbit sausage with herbs, wild boar with cranberries and a Guinness flavored brat wurst at an Irish brunch place. They also had a ton of Irish Tea which was to die for! The other photo is from The Black Dog Tavern, and we had clam chowder and a crab cake sandwich. There was so much seafood and yumminess that I couldn't contain myself! So good! *Droool*

One of the highlights of the trip was visiting Edward Gorey's house/ museum. He's a great illustrator that has great line and ink work. He knows how to use lines to create darker shades of black and to move the eye along. A lot of his work is related to death and horror but it's fantastic! Below are just some photos of the place.

Since the hurricane came during Fourth of July, we ended up going to Martha's Vineyard a day late. But it was fine cause the weather was amazing!! So nice that we got a bike to tour the island and it was a fantastic day to do so!

We ended up at the other side of the Island and visited the beach and Gay Head Cliffs. Something about this place is so peaceful and quaint. It was a nice break to see from the hustle and bustle of the city. The beach was a little painful since it was covered with big rocks and seagulls kept trying to eat our food but other than that it was fun! I want to say that I got a little darker or tanner but I would probably be lying.

But it was a great vacation in all! We did a lot of random things and we did have adventure! I learned a lot about myself- more about what makes me feel relaxed and what I would do regarding my future. It's such a great place to just empty all your thoughts out and take in space in your head. Even through all the rough patches of the trip, I'm glad I went!

So that was my adventure! I hope everyone had a great vacation and that they learned or gained something from it.

Till next time!
