Happy weekend!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Today was a pretty slow day... nothing new really happened... except me trying new drinks!

I tried a "spanish verison" of Bloody Mary called "Bloody Maria" (Clever, right?) and I had my first experience with French Press coffee!

Both were delish! Can't wait to have more!

I worked late yesterday and realized when I got home that I got my Warby Parker sample glasses!

So I spent all night trying the five pairs on and trying to figure out which one I should get... and boy... I only narrowed it down to four glasses...

Do you see one that looks good for me?

*Sigh*... that means more nights of me trying them on to see what is better...

Well hopefully next time I will have new glasses!

I had a very interesting morning today!

You see, the past few weekdays I had to wake up early in the morning since I start work earlier than others. On my way to work, I saw a blind person who needed guidance to get out of the subway station. So thinking I sort of have nothing better to do than to wait on a subway platform for 15 mins for a train that's not going to come anyway, decided to help him to his destination. 

Then it just hit me how hard it is to navigate a blind person via NYC... especially if there are stairs... but after giving really loud and nervous directions and a lot of patience, I was able to get him to his destination. 

Apparently, a police officer and his dog all of a sudden came up to me and said that it was a really nice thing that I did for the stranger... so he was nice enough to treat me to a donut at Krispy Kreme. 

The lesson of the day- Do good things and you'll get the best breakfast ever.
