Hello there!

I had a really cool day today!

Mostly because I started to volunteer around NYC today! And today was about playing math games with NYC kids in Chinatown. The kids there are so adorable!! One of them reminded me of myself and I thought that was pretty awesome!

You guys should go out and volunteer! It's a great way to start your day!

I had a very interesting morning today!

You see, the past few weekdays I had to wake up early in the morning since I start work earlier than others. On my way to work, I saw a blind person who needed guidance to get out of the subway station. So thinking I sort of have nothing better to do than to wait on a subway platform for 15 mins for a train that's not going to come anyway, decided to help him to his destination. 

Then it just hit me how hard it is to navigate a blind person via NYC... especially if there are stairs... but after giving really loud and nervous directions and a lot of patience, I was able to get him to his destination. 

Apparently, a police officer and his dog all of a sudden came up to me and said that it was a really nice thing that I did for the stranger... so he was nice enough to treat me to a donut at Krispy Kreme. 

The lesson of the day- Do good things and you'll get the best breakfast ever.
